	Dr. Lon W. Riggs Dr. Riggs has lived in Port Angeles since 1972. After attending UW dental school he was a dentist in the US Army for three years. He and his wife Sherrie lived in Okinawa before settling here in 1972. They have three children, three grandchildren and Dr. enjoys travel, sailing and motor cycling in his spare time. 	Dr. Larry E. Temres Larry Temres, After attending University of Missouri for both undergraduate studies and dental school Dr. Temres and his wife settled in Port Angeles in 1976. He has three children, three grandchildren and three foster grandchildren as well. He served in the US Navy for four years and enjoys sailing, sky diving and spending time with his family. 	Dr. Todd R. Irwin Dr. Irwin is a pacific NW native. After attending college at University of Utah for undergraduate studies and University of Louisville Dental School in Kentucky he returned to Washington State to be closer to family and friends. Dr. Irwin is passionate about dentistry and is known to use vacation time to further in dental education by either taking courses or reading dental material. Dr. Irwin and his wife have five children. When he isn't working he enjoys playing basketball, cycling, spending time with his family and friends and traveling. 	Dr. B. Travis Johnson Dr. Johnson was born in Missoula, Montana in 1975. His father's job with the US Fish & Wildlife Service introduced the family to numerous wildlife refuges across the west. Dr. Johnson completed his undergraduate studies and doctorate in California. After four years with a group practice in Eastern Oregon, Dr. Johnson and his family were drawn to the Olympic Peninsula, where his father retired to Sequim. He lives in Port Angeles with his wife and two daughters. 	Dr. Richard T. Elmer Dr Elmer grew up in Port Angeles; he attended Lincoln grade school, Roosevelt middle school and Port Angeles High school. After attending Marquette University dental school he practiced dentistry in the US Army for four years. One year in Tacoma at Madigan Army Hospital and three years in Germany. He returned to his home town to practice in Port Angeles. He and his wife Pat have two Children and two Grandchildren. In his spare time Dr. Elmer enjoys scuba diving, skiing, photography, golf, traveling, swimming, and playing with his grandchildren. Education: Undergraduate Studies at Pacific Lutheran University, B.S. Biology-Chemistry. 	Dr. BT (Biff) Beard Originally from NE Texas/SE Oklahoma, Biff (a name given from birth) and his college sweetheart Ginger, determined to move to the Pacific Northwest and after searching throughout the area, chose Port Angeles as the ideal location. They have two grown sons and enjoy the multitude of outdoor activities available on the Peninsula. Biff enjoys helping his patients benefit from the many advances of 21st century dentistry including sedation techniques and especially focuses on developing true relationships with his patients. Registered Dental Hygienists

Tara Tara has worked for Dr.'s Irwin and Riggs since she finished hygiene school in 2000. When she is not working Tara stays busy raising her two sons and enjoying the outdoors. She and her boys love to surf and going to the beach.
Shan Shan has been a RDH since 1985. She has a BS in Dental Hygiene from Idaho State University. She worked for Dr. Larry Temres for 2.5 years before joining Irwin Dental Center. She is married and has one son who is currently in Active duty in the US Army. When asked what she likes about her profession? Well everything. But especially she enjoys the relationships that she gains from her patients, the satisfaction she gains from educating and helping patients obtain healthy mouths and the expertise that she can offer from years of experience. When not working she and her husband enjoy camping, hiking in the mountains, BBQ and the outdoors in general.
Pam Pam has worked as a dental hygienist for 6 years. Pam has 5 kids and enjoys horses, volleyball, hiking and reading. Pam has been with Irwin Dental Center since 2007.
Brent Brent has worked as a dental hygienist since 1992. He received his degree from Pierce College. When asked what he likes most about his work, Brent immediately answers: The patients. He truly loves the opportunity to meet new people and to build relationships with them. Brent and his wife have been married for 26 years. They have four children (two girls and two boys). As a family they enjoy back packing in the wilderness and Brent likes to ride his bike.
Twyla Twyla is also a new member of the Irwin Dental Center team, joining us in 2010. She has been a dental hygieneist since 2002 and was a dental assistant for 10 years prior to attending Peninsula College and Shoreline Community College. Twyla and her husband have three children and enjoy living in Sequim. When she's not cleaning teeth she enjoys walking her dogs, reading, vacationing and spending time with her family.
Lacey Lacey graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Pierce College in 2010 and joined the Irwin Dental Center team that same year. Lacey loves her patients and truly enjoys her profession. She was born and raised on the Olympic Peninsula and loves what it has to offer. Lacey is married, has one daughter and when she's not working she enjoys biking, hiking, traveling, cooking and spending time with her family.

Registered Dental Assistants

	Shelly Shelly is a dental assistant with Irwin Dental Center. She has over 20 years experience in the field of dentistry. Shelly is a long time Port Angeles resident. She has a daughter and a son. When not working Shelly loves to ride her bike, exercise and spend time with her friends and family.
	Diane Diane has been working as a dental assistant with Dr. Irwin when he first began practicing in 1997. Diane and her husband live in Port Angeles. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her Children and Grandchildren. She is a wonderful asset to Irwin Dental Center.
	Candis Candis has been with Irwin Dental Center since July of 2002. She has worked both as a dental assistant and as business staff. Candis and her family were also patients at Irwin Dental Center before she joined our team. When asked what she likes about her work, she claims that Irwin Dental Center's high tech equipment and amazing Doctors make work like heaven. She said it! When not working, Candis enjoys life on the Olympic Peninsula with her husband, two children and two granddaughters.
	Nancy Nancy was born in Port Angeles. She has worked as a dental assistant since 1978 and for Irwin Dental Center since 2001. She has two daughters a step daughter and two grandchildren. She and her husband are active in the community and Nancy is especially active in the Evergreen Children's Hosptial Guild. We feel fortunate to have Nancy on our team, with her friendly smile and the fact that she knows many of the patients that have been with us since Dr. Riggs began.
	Tanya Tanya has been in the dental field since 1992. She is married and has one daughter. When she is not working she likes camping and outdoor activities, She has been with Irwin Dental Center since 2005.
	Stephanie Stephanie joined Irwin Dental as a dental assistant in October 2007. She and her family had been patients of Irwin Dental Center for many years. During her time off she enjoys time with her family, fishing, camping and hunting.
	Lexi Lexi has been in the dental field since 2000. She was born and raised in Sequim, WA. When asked what she enjoys about her work she exclaims that she loves people. She always makes our patients feel extremely comfortable and at ease.
	Vonda Vonda joined our practice recently when Dr. Elmer moved into Irwin Dental Center. She has worked for Dr. Elmer since 1998. Vonda has been a dental assistant for 17 years, and was a receptionist before attending Northwest Medical dental assistant's college. Vonda enjoys helping people and working as a team. Vonda and her husband have two sons. When she is not working Vonda enjoys camping, hiking, fishing and boating.

Business Staff

Eric Eric started his career in dentistry in 2004 when he came to Port Angeles to manage Irwin Dental Center. Eric received his certificate in "Dental Business Administration" from Clover Park Technical College. Before coming to Irwin Dental Center in 2004, Eric worked at Microsoft for 4 years and the City of Bellevue Police Department for 11 years. Eric enjoys continuing his education by attending practice management seminars. He and his wife Ronnie have been married for 23 years. They have four wonderful children and one beautiful granddaughter.
Lindsay Lindsay joined Irwin Dental Center team in 2004. She is one of our treatment coordinators and is very good at her job. She enjoys working with people and seeing the new found confidence a beautiful smile can bring to our patients.
Shelly Shelly our Financial Coordinator, is a new addition to Irwin Dental Center. She has previous dental experience and 23 years in accounting. She helps all of our patients make financial arrangements that work for them to achieve the smile of their dreams. When not working she enjoys spending time with her family, sightseeing, watching her kids in their sports and she also enjoys volunteering in the community.
Lisa Lisa joined us in 2007 when we opened our new facility. She is our New Patient Coordinator. She works with our patients and doctors to coordinate their dental care. She enjoys the relationships that she builds with our patients and finds it to be extremely rewarding helping others. Prior to the dental field Lisa worked in Human Resources for a large company. Lisa and her husband have been married for 30 years. They have two daughters. When she is not working Lisa and her family love to camp, spend time at Lake Sutherland, cook and entertain.
Mandi Mandi joined Irwin Dental Center in 2010. She is our Hygiene Coordinator and we love having her. Mandi grew up in Port Angeles, loves being a mom to her son, enjoys spending time with her family and is very involved with organ donation.
Cami Cami grew up in Port Angeles. She attended Linfield College in Portland, where she majored in Exercise Science. Cami joined the Irwin Dental Center team in 2010. She has worked in the medical field since she was 16. Cami enjoys hiking, camping with her family, dirt bike riding, baking, and spending time with friends and family.
Kathy Kathy has lived on the Olympic Peninsula all of her life. Before joining Irwin Dental Center in 2010 she was the manager of a local restaurant. What does she like about her job? “Making people feel comfortable smiling”. Kathy has an adventurous streak and enjoys reading, hiking, gardening, all things outdoors with her friends and family.
