Dr. Todd R. Irwin
Dr. Irwin is a Pacific NW native. After attending college at University of Utah for undergraduate studies and University of Louisville Dental School in Kentucky, he returned to Washington State to be closer to family and friends. Dr. Irwin is passionate about dentistry and is known to use vacation time to further in dental education by either taking courses or reading dental material. Dr. Irwin and his wife have five children. When he isn't working he enjoys playing golf, basketball, cycling, spending time with his family and friends and traveling.

Dr. Larry B. Little
Dr Little worked with the Indian Health Service in Neah Bay and it was during this time he fell in love with the Peninsula. Dr Little maintained a practice in Port Townsend for 20 years but it was the mountains and rivers that brought him back west to Port Angeles. With his wife Michelle the couple developed the North Olympic Discovery Marathon (NODM) to benefit our community. Dr Little acted as the director for the Volunteers in Medicine Clinic developing multiple health programs including the VIMO dental program to serve the underprivileged and where he still volunteers on a regular basis. His life passions include anything outdoors including mountaineering, kayaking and skiing and of course healthcare.

Dr. Samuel D. Crocco
Dr. Crocco is a Pacific Northwest native. He was raised in Buckley, WA, before attending the University of Washington for his undergraduate studies. He then moved to southern California, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Western University of Health Sciences. He is happy to be back in the NW to start this new chapter of his life and career. Dr. Crocco is passionate about patient-centered healthcare, and always strives to do what is in the best interest of his patient’s overall health and happiness. When he’s not practicing dentistry, Dr. Crocco loves sports and the great outdoors. He enjoys playing golf, softball, flag football, waterskiing, snowboarding, hiking, hunting, fishing, and rooting for his Seattle sports teams.

Registered Dental Hygienists
Lacey graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Pierce College in 2010 and joined the Irwin Dental Center team that same year. Lacey loves her patients and truly enjoys her profession. She was born and raised on the Olympic Peninsula and loves what it has to offer. Lacey is married, has one daughter and when she's not working she enjoys biking, hiking, traveling, cooking and spending time with her family.
Nicole has worked as a dental hygienist for the past sixteen years. She has returned to Irwin Dental Center after working for the Quileute Tribe. She has a deep passion for the hygiene profession and strives to provide thorough and gentle preventive care to her patients. She enjoys being with her family, running, yard work and baking.
Tara has worked for Dr.'s Irwin and Riggs since she finished hygiene school in 2000. When she is not working Tara stays busy raising her two sons and enjoying the outdoors. She and her boys love to surf and going to the beach.
Twyla is also a new member of the Irwin Dental Center team, joining us in 2010. She has been a dental hygienist since 2002 and was a dental assistant for 10 years prior to attending Peninsula College and Shoreline Community College. Twyla and her husband have three children and enjoy living in Sequim. When she's not cleaning teeth she enjoys walking her dogs, reading, vacationing and spending time with her family.
Rachel graduated from Pierce Dental Hygiene School in 2012 and is excited to be a part of the Irwin Dental family. Rachel finds joy in connecting with her patients while working toward the common goal of achieving optimal oral health. She is passionate and thankful to be serving the community in which she was born and raised in. Outside of work Rachel keeps busy raising her two little girls with her husband. They enjoy camping and spending time on the Olympic Peninsula, Lake Crescent Lodge being their favorite.
Stacy was born and raised in Southeast Alaska where her love for the outdoors came naturally. When asked what she enjoys most about our area she states 'I love the PNW because it reminds me so much of Southeast Alaska without being stranded on an island!' Stacy graduated from Clark College in 2001 and loves the relationships and trust she has built with her patients over the last 18 years. I am excited to be joining the Irwin team knowing their high level of patient care along with keeping the family feel of the small town. In my spare time I help coach my three boys in sports, volunteer at community events, hike and spend as much time as I can at the beach with my boys and dogs.
Lindsay is Irwin Dental Center's Practice Manager. She’s been with the practice since 2004 and prior to her promotion to director was our lead Treatment Coordinator. She’s known for her professionalism, integrity and leadership. Before her career with us Lindsay was an Operations Supervisor for a local bank. Lindsay loves seeing how a person’s confidence and happiness can be transformed by a beautiful, healthy smile
Shane joined the Irwin Dental team in 2018 after moving from Alabama but grew up in Arizona. Shane is a proud mom and military wife who has spent her time in Accounting and Government Contracting. The United States Army has afforded her and family the opportunity to travel and see beautiful locations across the United States. Shane enjoys spending time with her family and friends on the lake/ ocean, camping or beach walking.
With over 20 years of experience in the field of dentistry, Shelly recently transitioned from assisting Dr Irwin chairside to our Lead Treatment Coordinator. With her invaluable clinical knowledge, she easily puts our patients at ease as they discuss treatment needs and how to best achieve. Shelly is a long time Port Angeles resident and when not working loves to ride her bike, exercise and spend time with her friends and family.
Amber is a long time Port Angeles resident who joined our team in 2015. Prior to working at IDC she worked for the same retail store for 13 years and brings the same welcoming smile many will recognize. Amber's friendly demeanor easily puts patients at ease the minute they walk in the door! Outside of work she enjoys baking, gardening and exploring the peninsula.
Candis is our Insurance Assistant and has been with Irwin Dental Center since July of 2002. In this time has worked both as a dental assistant and as business staff. She is truly a ‘people’ person and loves helping our patients in any way she can. Prior to joining our team she and her family were also patients! When not working, Candis enjoys life on the Olympic Peninsula with her family.
Shan has been a dental hygienist for many years and is known for building patient relationships and helping them feel comfortable in the dental setting. After an extended medical leave, she has decided to transition her career from Hygienist to Hygiene Coordinator! Patients will be pleased to see her familiar, smiling face and will appreciate her continuing in their care as a trusted member of our hygiene team. When Shan is not working, she most enjoys long walks on the beach with her husband, the love of her life along with their large standard poodle. She also takes pleasure in beautifying her surroundings with gardening and planting flowers.
Monica is out newest team member and has worked in the dental field for 20+ years! She grew up in Port Angeles and has recently returned after many years away from home. She has 2 adult children and is a new grandmother. She enjoys hiking, swimming, reading and painting.
Catie came to IDC after recently relocating from California. She previously worked at a periodontist's office and states she is ecstatic to find a dental 'home' with our IDC family! When not working she enjoys spending most of her time outside, taking in all the natural beauty the PNW has to offer.
Registered Dental Assistants
Tabi joined the practice in May of 2014 but has been in the dental field since 1999. She was born and raised in Port Angeles and having been an assistant to Dr. Temres at Fifth Street Dental Clinic she will be a familiar face to many. Outside of work she enjoys cooking and spending time with friends and family.
Lisa has been a Dental Assistant since 2011 and just recently moved to the Port Angeles area. When asked what she loves about her job she states helping patients obtain a healthy mouth and smile! She adds she is excited to be part of a professional dental team that provides exceptional dental care. In her free time Lisa enjoys spending time with family and friends, including traveling to Palm Springs to visit her sister, playing soccer and really anything that keeps her active!
Madison joined IDC in 2017 and is a dental assistant in training. Her interest in the dental field began when she was only 6 years old! She shadowed at IDC in 2008 & 2009 and eventually would like to further her education and go to hygiene school. When not working, Madison enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Heather has been in the dental field for the past 12 years and is a long time resident of the Olympic Peninsula. She is married with two children. When not working, she loves to fish, hunt, hike and spend time with family and friends.
After working many years with Dr. Riggs prior to his retirement, Tanya returned to IDC as our Hygiene Assistant. Our hygienist's love that she is able to anticipate their needs and has the skills to jump in where needed to ensure our hygiene program is running smoothly!
Finding a true passion for dentistry, Ariana followed her mother's life long dental career and has been a Dental Assistant since 2014. When asked what she loves about the profession she states 'enhancing the health of our patient's'. Not only their oral health but helping to create smiles that boost patient's confidence and self-esteem! What she finds most rewarding is patient's leaving their appointment smiling and happy. A Sequim native, Ariana is married with 2 children, who in her free time enjoys camping, riding horses, spending time in the sun with friends and family at the lake.
